Why Worry

Why worry about who puts what in who, where
When paradise is being obliterated
And understated ethnic cleansings occur on a regular basis
Right in our faces
Palestine , New Orleans , Sudan , Dale Farm
It would appear
Six hundred years
Is not long enough for old fears to disappear
But then it depends on which ball should be kept an eye on.
If a chaps beds a chap
Do I care?
If some celebrity sticks cocaine up her nose
I don't even want to be aware
Too much hot air
I aint got time to spare
With own nightmares
It's a blind state of affairs
Where subdivisions of religions
Turn brother against brother
Sister against sister
By the hour
It's about power
And who owns the water
“You oughta line up behind me,
I won't make you free
And I'll end debate
But you can hate a mate
While paradise disintegrates before our very eyes.
Praise the locust
Too much hocus pocus
It's time to change the lens
But that depends
If we need to stay out of focus
For the sake of our own
Insanity.
